Buying OFF BOOK.
What is the Early Backer pre-sale?

How long is OFF BOOK?
OFF BOOK is planned as over two hours of candid theatre conversations and practical insight, shaped into Scenes you can watch through or return to.
What does permanent ownership mean?
Each Book in The Library is purchased individually and owned permanently. OFF BOOK is Volume 1. Once released, it stays yours. No subscription is required to retain access.
Backstage.
Is Backstage included with OFF BOOK?
No. OFF BOOK is the complete authored experience. BACKSTAGE is a separate, optional toolkit membership planned for after OFF BOOK launches. Planned tools include vocal warm-ups, audition venue maps, a repertoire finder, invoicing and job-budget calculators. You do not need membership to watch or keep OFF BOOK.
Are monthly and annual memberships planned?
BACKSTAGE is currently in technical rehearsals. Access options and pricing will be announced before launch. You can request early access on the BACKSTAGE preview page.
Contributor codes.
Can I use a contributor’s referral code?
A contributor code credits the person who introduced you to OFF BOOK. Enter it in the optional code field at checkout; the OFF BOOK presale price remains £39. See the benefit below.
What benefit is included with a contributor code?
A contributor code credits the person who introduced you to OFF BOOK. Any BACKSTAGE launch benefits and access terms will be confirmed before you choose to join. No subscription starts with your book purchase.
Account & access.
After you buy
Once your payment is confirmed, we send a purchase confirmation and, for a new account, a private link to set your password. Use the email address you buy with.
Before release, sign in to see your confirmed presale. full OFF BOOK films open on release, planned for December 2026. Return through Sign in to open your OFF BOOK. Account & access help.
Invited preview accounts are authorised separately; preview access does not indicate that OFF BOOK has released for presale buyers. Missing your invitation? Use Forgot password / need your invitation? with your purchase email, or contact hello@thisisactone.com.

Billing & payment.
Can I cancel my OFF BOOK presale order?
Yes. You can cancel for any reason until the end of 14 days after the day we accept your order following confirmed payment. The period runs from contract acceptance, not release. Your confirmation states the deadline. Tell us clearly by emailing hello@thisisactone.com; include your order email or receipt number so we can find your purchase. We will refund the original payment method within 14 days after you tell us you are cancelling.
OFF BOOK is digital content planned for release in December 2026. Watching our free teasers does not affect your cancellation right. If we offer access within your 14-day cancellation period, that right ends when supply begins only if you expressly agree to early supply and acknowledge beforehand that you will lose the right to cancel. We do not offer change-of-mind refunds after the applicable cancellation period. Your statutory rights remain if OFF BOOK is faulty, unavailable or not as described.

Books, ownership and The Library.
What is a Book?
An individual digital filmed experience, shaped from candid theatre conversations. Buy it once and own it permanently.
What are The Library and Volume 1?
The Library is our collection of individual Books. OFF BOOK is the first Book, Volume 1. Each Book stands alone; you do not have to buy them in order.
Does cancelling Backstage remove my Books?
No. OFF BOOK is a one-off purchase. BACKSTAGE is a separate toolkit in development; buying the book starts no subscription.
Giving OFF BOOK.
How do I buy OFF BOOK as a gift?
Choose Buy as a gift in your basket, then enter the recipient’s name, email and optional message. Send after payment or choose a delivery date. The gift stays unclaimed until the recipient signs in with that email and claims the secure link. It is not added to the purchaser’s Library.
Can I correct or resend a gift?
Sign in and open Your gifts. Before redemption you can correct the recipient or resend the invitation. Each change replaces the previous claim link. Contact hello@thisisactone.com for support.
What if they already own OFF BOOK?
The gift remains unclaimed. The purchaser can redirect it to someone else or contact ACT ONE. Claiming never creates duplicate ownership.
What happens if a gift purchase is refunded?
A cancelled or fully refunded payment removes gift access, including after redemption. Gift purchases have the same statutory purchase rights described in our terms. Backstage cannot be gifted.
